Several people have a problem of hoarding which develops as they aren’t able to part with possessions. But sometimes things can get really out of hand and even turn out to be fatal.

Last year the case of a man buried under a pile of his own magazines shocked everyone, and now a hoarder has died after an accident at her cramped up house. The woman lived there with 82 chihuahuas with many of them found in terrible conditions.

A lot of the dogs had matted coats, fleas and burns as they were in the house in squalid conditions. The woman who died after being moved to a hospital is believed to have contracted an infection following an accident.

Her pets were packed in every corner of the house and even came out of kitchen appliances when officials arrived. Many had behavioural issues which may be because of inbreeding.

Inspectors who were first informed about 30 canines were shocked to find 82 chihuahuas when they arrived. A vet said that the house was hazardous and dogs can’t live there after which they were moved to a hospital for treatment.
