Save your tweets for later
The company is yet to inform when the feature will be launched.
Twitter has started testing the 'save for later' bookmarking feature. Called 'Bookmarks', this feature allows users to privately save tweets for later. Twitter announced it was developing this feature in October.
On Thursday, Tina Koyama, a staff product designer at the company, revealed through a tweet what the feature looks like.
She wrote, “We went through all the designed flows and picked the ones that are the easiest to navigate to test out with our community.” She added “You told us that you want tweets you’ve bookmarked to be private, so only you can see it. We kept this in mind while creating designs for the feature.(sic)”
This feature will help its 330 million active users to keep a separate list of tweets they would want to refer back to, instead of using the 'favourite' button.
The bookmark button will appear in the menu on the bottom right corner of a tweet on smartphones and in the v-drop menu in upper-right corner on the desktop. The company is yet to inform when the feature will be launched.
