At the 54-year-old Sai Darshan Mitra Mandal (54yrs) at Malad, this nine-foot Ganpati idol is made out of old coins. The idol weights around 250 kilos, the weight including the 20,000 coins glued on a paper idol. This 80-kilo paper idol is glued with old coins that dates back to 1940 -1965.
Made entirely out of wedding card paper, this seven-foot eco-friendly Ganpati idols is made from 60,000 tinted sheets.
This 9.5-foot Ganpati idol weighs over 19 kg. Giving the traditional materials a skip, the pandal made use of materials like pasta, nachos, noodles and even pizza.
We won’t blame if you don’t understand why this idol made it to the list, since it resembles your traditional Ganpati statue. But this 21-feet idol is made using 75-kg tissue paper and 35 kg glue.
Sapurpada Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal made a Ganpati idol made of 40,440 flowers in total.
