Man suffers from penile fracture while having vigorous sex with girlfriend
He noticed it 12 hours later as his penis and scrotum got bruised and there was blood in his urine.
Getting adventurous during sex and putting in some extra effort is good for a relationship, but people can push things a bit too far if they aren’t careful. Penile fractures are a major risk associated with experimenting in bed without precautions, and have been reported across the world.
In yet another horrifying story from Britain, a man actually snapped his penis while having vigorous sex and didn’t even notice it for 12 hours. The 47-year-old told Daily Mail that while he does remember a snapping sensation, he continued with intercourse since he was able to maintain an erection.
But 12 hours later he became concerned when his scrotum and penis became bruised and he was in pain with blood in his urine. Doctors had a difficult time examining his penis as it was swollen and boggy to touch.
Tests showed a tear in the tubing of the tissue which stores blood during an erection and the patient was sent to urology department for surgery. The man recovered within two weeks.
People who try unusual positions or get overenthusiastic while having sex are more likely to suffer from penile fracture.
