FLO President Harjinder Kaur Talwar took a delegation of Indian business women to Chinese Embassy as she conceptualized an interactive session with trade division of  Embassy to explore the possibilities of working jointly towards the common goal of women entrepreneurship.

“It was a very meaningful and interesting  session on Creating an Enabling Environment for Women. Also, we are touched by the hospitality shown by H.E. Luo Zhaohui, the ambassador of China and his wife Dr Jiang Yili”, said Harjinder adding, “While both the countries have had its share of issues and challenges along the way, it is also my belief that the inter-relationships of these two countries will have positive and unprecedented benefits in the coming times.”

The number of female entrepreneurs accounts for one quarter of the total number of entrepreneurs in China, and about 55 per cent of new Internet businesses are being founded by women. The same should be the status of Indian business women as women have startedf to take a lead in business.
