A disturbing picture showing a group of teenagers posing after throwing eggs and flour at a disabled woman has triggered an outrage on the internet. They can be seen mocking the woman covered in the mixture sitting on a bench in the park.
The shocking images led to appeals for naming and shaming the teens as police arrested two 17-year-olds and two 15-year-olds who were released on bail. The woman in her 40s was attacked by the group following a verbal argument in the park.
Meanwhile locals said that the boys in the image are from a group that has terrorised the entire area for weeks. The woman was distressed but not physically injured in the incident while many mentioned that she was disabled in Facebook posts.
Several residents shared how the youths hang around in parks and shops as people avoid them to stay away from trouble. Social media personality Robin Armstrong also posted the image to his followers with a video saying how he wanted to find the teens and chase them away.
