My father, my hero, says Vivek Dahiya

The father-son relationship is one of the most important relationships on Earth but many fathers often grossly underestimate their importance in the lives of their sons, doubting their significance and often withdrawing much too quickly from the essential bond formed in childhood. But I have been extremely fortunate to have my father right beside me whenever I need him.

I can pour my heart out to him without fearing any judgment or preconceived notions. He is not your typical dad, who will pass on his wishes or dictate your life. He has made an impact not only on me but on my entire family. He has been a strict father when I was a child but now he has become my best friend. He is a man of principles and a lot of my own personality is almost like an extension of his aura. I owe everything to him and he is my greatest hero.
