Here is a guide to stop premature ejaculation
Ejaculation is considered premature when it happens 30 seconds to 4 minutes after penetration.
Studies show an estimated 30 per cent of men suffer from premature ejaculation (PE) at some point in their lives.
In fact, PE is one of the most common male sexual problems and a major cause of concern among men.
Ejaculation is considered premature when it happens 30 seconds to 4 minutes after penetration.
However, there varied ways to treat PE and it's just a matter of finding the one that suits you best.
For starters, men can opt for thicker condoms which can reduce sensitivity to make sex last longer.
However, others find that behaviour strategies like the "start-stop" and the "squeeze" techniques help them.
Most believe that the start-stop method is the easiest technique and can be done alone or with a partner.
The method involves stimulating the penis and stopping just before ejaculation. Stop the stimulation for 30-60 seconds and start again once you feel like you've regained control.
Repeat the process 4-5 times, stopping and resting every time you feel you're close to orgasm.
The next technique involves squeezing the penis in the area before the shaft and the glans for about 30 seconds – just before you're about to finish.
While it may affect erection, it does stop PE. The process can be repeated 4-5 times until orgasm.
Interestingly, the “start-stop” and “squeeze” technique prove more effective when combined with either thinking about something else or taking a deep breath before ejaculation.
Apart from these longer foreplay can help increase satisfaction for your partner as well as delay your ejaculation.
