Okay, so it is Valentine’s Day, but maybe you are bored of doing the run-of-the-mill stuff. Why not make it the perfect time to  take things up a notch?

Speaking to The Sun in an article, sex and relationship expert Annabelle Knight revealed how you can make things red hot on February 14.

Here are a few pointers:

Switch it up: Most couples have sex in the same place all the time and it’s usually their bed. While there is nothing wrong wit hit, it can make things a bit repetitive. Why not t change things up with a bit? The psychology behind this tells us that just having a change of situation makes things more exciting in the bedroom.

Dress up: Play dress up. Forget pretty underwear sets this Valentine’s and spice things up with an all-in-one body stocking or dress up as a doctor or a nurse!

Erotic reading: The Fifty Shades of Grey effect has had such a positive impact on the sex lives of thousands of couples, with the sales of light bondage bits going through the roof. There are tonnes of great erotic romance novels out there, read them together!

Not only are books like these great reads, they’re also fabulous for giving you some ideas.

Chill out: One of the most obvious things that is usually missed out by couples, but juts chill. Injecting a little bit of romance with a relaxing bath takes all of ten minutes but is worth so much more in terms of your relationship.
