Murder case accused held, pistol recovered
The accused also disclosed that he was planni-ng to kill Krishan Paha-lwan of Dichaon Kalan.
New Delhi: The Delhi police has arrested a criminal wanted in a murder case and has recovered one country-made pistol and two live cartridges from his possession.
The accused was identified as Vikram alias Amit alias Mitta (21).According to the police, information was received on Wednesday that a criminal, wanted in a murder case at Bahadurgarh in Haryana and possessing illegal arms, would come to meet his associates.
Subsequently, a trap was laid and the accused was intercepted. When the raiding party got closer to apprehend him, the accused took out a pistol from his pocket and tried to fire at the raiding party. The team, however, managed to overpower him.
During interrogation it was found that Vikram was wanted in a murder case in which his associates and he had killed one person, namely Sunil, in the Rewari Khera area of Haryana. They had carried out the murder on the direction of Vikas Dalal, a gangster belonging to the Nitu Dabodia gang. He is said to be presently operating this gang from jail.
The accused also disclosed that he was planni-ng to kill Krishan Paha-lwan of Dichaon Kalan. The accused is an active member and sharp shooter of Nitu Dabodia gang. and is involved in various cases of murder, attempt to murder, and Arms Act, said a senior police official.
