NEW DELHI: Difference between top leadership of Delhi BJP came out in the recently concluded two-day working committee meeting on the functioning of organisation and lack of communication among senior leaders. Senior leaders including Lok Sabha members specifically pointed out lack of organisation support in just concluded general elections.

Ramesh Bidhuri, Lok Sabha member from South Delhi, pointed to the attendees in strong words that some leaders are trying to take credit of party’s Lok Sabha performance alongwith historic victory in 2017 civic polls.

“Addressing the meet, Mr Bidhuri said that one must be clear that electoral success in last two polls was achieved only due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but few people trying to take credit for victory in these polls,” said a Delhi BJP insider.

Taking a dig on Lok Sabha member from North West Delhi Hansraj Hans, former union minister Vijay Goel reportedly said that people joined party yesterday and became MP only due to Prime Minister Mr Modi.

“Replying to Mr Goel’s comment, Mr Hans said that he joined party a day before yesterday and working for party since 2008,” said a party leader.

According to sources, making an indirect reference to Mr Goel’s political activities without consulting or communicating to state unit, Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari said that some senior leaders failed to inform state leadership while holding the programme.
