Amit Shah to inaugurate NaMo Sewa Kendra in city
BJP leader Satyanarayan Jatia hailed the idea of the NaMo Sewa Kendra.
New Delhi: Union Minister Vijay Goel on Saturday announced the opening of the first ever “NaMo Sewa Kendra,” which is aimed at helping the masses on various schemes. Mr Goel said that BJP under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always stressed on the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ and the Sewa Kendra would be yet another step in this regard.
According to Mr Goel, this is a one of its kind facilitation centre where the general public would get first-hand information about various Central government schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana, MUDRA, Ujjwala Yojana and others. Volunteers would also help people to opt for these schemes and avail the benefits.
Mr Goel claimed that this would be the first time that such a centre is being initiated and BJP’s president Amit Shah would inaugurate the centre on March 5.
The centre would also involve RWAs and other stakeholders to create awareness among masses. Various banks and central agencies too would set up kiosks and mini-stalls to distribute forms and information about schemes beneficial for the masses.

Mr Goel also emphasized on the fact that the NaMo Sewa Kendra would also stress on ‘learn and teach’ technique so that volunteers and other workers can learn about various schemes.
