Firm completed War Memorial work in record time of 8 months
From inception to delivery, Star Mercantile was interacting with the NCC, Ministry Of Defence, principal architects mainly for installation.
New Delhi: Star Mercantile was selected as a Specialist Stone Agency to work on the prestigious National War Memorial for which the civil work was executed by NCC. This was carried out under the able guidance and leadership of Mr A.S.N. RAJU director of NCC. Under his guidance, the Star Mercatile was able to complete this task in a record time of 8 months.
Director, NCC’s knowledge and experience of such fast track projects of national importance gave the company “the strength to move sequentially in the right direction.” According to Mr Kishore Kapur, director, Star Mercantile, the “entire project was executed in a record eight months time.”

The company used breakthrough technology for carving and engraving. The materials used for the construction of the “world-class memorial” included as diverse as Jaisalmer red granite, Korana pink granite, Agra Red and beige sandstone.
The war memorial has walkways in stunning patterns, Rajasthani jali work, regal and imposing obelisk, which resembles a monolithic monument and profiles encompassing the Eternal Flame.
The company used automatic CNC machines and highly skilled artisans. The company paid homage to the 25942 martyrs with individual tablets in red granite with gilded gold lettering engraved with special technology which is mounted on a tongue-groove system on curved walls.
