Robbery bid foiled by police in Dwarka
The recovered arms and ammunition were purchased from Hathras and Mathura (UP) by the duo for the purpose.
New Delhi: The plans of two criminals to commit a robbery so as to arrange funds for the marriage of one of the criminal’s younger brother, was foiled by the alert Dwarka police. Their arrest led to the recovery of two loaded pistols and three live rouds by the police. .
The accused, identified as Ajay Gulia (21), and Ravi Kumar (23)’ were arrested and two loaded pistols and three live rounds were recovered when the Honda Dream motorcycle, they were riding on, was intercepted at Neelwal Crossing Picket, in Najafgarh on May 1.

In recent past, a few incidents of robbery and car jacking had taken place in Dwarka and adjoining areas wherein criminals to intimidate victims used illegal firearms.
