New Delhi: In an alleged property dispute, a double murder took place in Outer Delhi on Monday night when a 45-year-old principal was shot dead in her house. By the time the police initiated a probe into the same, another murder came to light where the brother of the said principal was allegedly found dead at Badsa village in Jhajjar district of Haryana.

Anita Yadav, the principal of Rachna Public School at Ghuman Hera village, was at her home along with her son when three assailants shot her in the chest at about 10 pm.

Another round of fire was shot at her son. Fortunately, he escaped unhurt. However, Anita’s brother, Jai Kishan, was found murdered in Haryana later by the police.

The victim used to run a school from the ground and the first floor of her house. She stayed with her family on the second floor.

Probe revealed that riled over a property matter, the armed assailants, who were purportedly led by her husband’s business partner, entered the school building at night.

They then discussed some property matter with Anita before shooting her in the chest. A part of the crime was captured on CCTV.

The police suspects that Jai Kishan’s death is also related to the case. While an investigation into the murders is currently underway, the police is keen on determining whether the brother was abducted before being killed.

While the suspects continue to remain at large, the Delhi police is in the process of coordinating a joint operation along with its counterpart in Haryana.
