Air India flight suffers tyre burst at Delhi airport

The flight had 130 passengers on board, besides crew members.

New Delhi: An Air India flight from Varanasi suffered a tyre burst after landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on Sunday.

All passengers deplaned safely, an Air India spokesperson said.

The flight had 130 passengers on board, besides crew members, he added.

"One of the tyres of the Airbus A321 aircraft, operating Varanasi-New Delhi flight, deflated when it landed at the IGI Airport here," the spokesperson said.

The flight landed at 5 pm, he added.
