Delhi: Mob saves woman from abduction; 2 arrested

New Delhi: Two persons have been arrested for allegedly abducting a woman, who was later rescued by locals, in outer Delhi's Mangolpuri, police said on Sunday.

On hearing her cry for help, the locals followed the car.
It was intercepted by another vehicle and the woman was rescued, the police said, adding the incident was reported around 1 am.
Two of the accused were caught by the people, thrashed and handed over to the police. The car, in which the accused were taking the woman was set ablaze by the public, they said.
The others are absconding and it is being probed whether the woman knew the accused, police said.
