New Delhi: The BJP and AAP legislators on Thursday moved separate pleas before Speaker Ram Niwas Goel over use of "unparliamentary" langauge in the ongoing session of the Delhi Assembly.

Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta, in his plea to the Speaker, sought issuing of a contempt notice against AAP MLA Nitin Tyagi and other legislators of the ruling party for using unparliamentary language against him and his colleague Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, AAP legislator Somnath Bharti sought action against Gupta and Sirsa, on similar charges.

The Speaker met the warring legislators in his chamber to resolve the issue but in vain. The complainants will meet him again tomorrow for resolving the matter.
