New Delhi: Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta slammed the Delhi government for calling the House without having any reasonable justification for compelling reasons.

He said that the assembly session, which ended on Friday, was the most meaningless and unsuccessful session of the last three and half years of the Kejriwal government.

Through a number of important legislations are pending with the government, it could not bring a single legislation or the bill in the Assembly in public interest.

He said that there was absolutely no need to convened the House as the issues taken up by the government in the House could have been easily directly conveyed to the public.

The ministers and AAP MLAs made irrelevant and misguiding statements in the House just to malign the Centre, L-G, BJP and officers.

The seriousness of the government can be judged from the fact that the chief minister showed his face in the House for just 15-20 minutes for the duration of five days.

“Kejriwal Government spent its entire energy on ensuring that the Opposition is crushed. Whene-ver BJP MLAs tried to raise public interest issues such as Banglad-eshi infiltrators, humiliation of human officer, the Government ensured that the voice of Opposition was stifled,” he added.

The leader of Opposition was forcibly evicted by marshals from the House three times in just four days of the House. Other BJP MLAs were also compelled to walk out of the House.
