New Delhi: A special court awarded a four-year jail term to a former joint secretary of the MCD and three of his associates in connection with a corruption case.
“Corruption is worse than prostitution. Being an Indian citizen, it is our moral duty to crush corruption,” additional sessions judge Himani Malhotra said while giving the jail term to the accused Kundal Lal, the then joint-secretary of slum and J.J. department of the MCD, as well his aides Ram Charan Kamal, Shankar Sahni and R.S. Sandhu.
