Delhi: Missing BA student found murdered

The police said that deceased, a resident of Alipur had gone to the market to buy vegetables after which she went missing.

New Delhi: A 20-year-old woman who went missing on Friday evening was found dead in the bushes in North Delhi on Saturday morning. Her family had suspected kidnapping. 

The police said that deceased, a resident of Alipur had gone to the market to buy vegetables after which she went missing.  Her parents after several futile attempts to locate her approached the police on Saturday. 

Later, in the day, the news of an abandoned dead body came to fore. Police teams coupled with sniffer squad rushed to the spot and discovered the woman’s body. The cops, based on her parent’s complaint have registered a case and has detained a 25-year-old man, identified as Pradeep.  According to the preliminary probe, the B.A. third year student was last seen with him. They suspect that the two were friends. Her parents alleged that their daughter was gangraped before the murder. Initial probe suggests that the deceased had gone out with Pradeep.
