Manjinder Singh Sirsa takes a dig at CM Kejriwal over EVM row
Taking a jibe at Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, Sirsa said that nothing good will happens to the Congress till Mr Gandhi is there.
New Delhi: Pointing to the doubts raised by Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on electronic voting machines (EVMs), newly-elected Rajouri Garden MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that the “EVMs will continue to be faulty for as long as Mr Kejriwal and his party are in power.”
Mr Sirsa, on Thursday, won the Rajouri Garden Assembly seats by a margin of over 14,000 votes by defeating the Congress. Talking to the media after his victory, second time MLA Mr Sirsa said that the downfall of the AAP and Mr Kejriwal has started from Rajouri Garden and in the future, they will be wiped out from Delhi. “People felt cheated by the AAP and Kejriwal government. Demanding the resignation of Mr Kejriwal on moral ground after the defeat, Mr Sirsa said that the downfall of AAP started with the bypoll result of Rajouri Garden and locks will be put up by the people at AAP office after civic polls.
Taking a jibe at Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, Mr Sirsa said that nothing good will happens to the Congress till Mr Gandhi is there.
Reacting to Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken’s claim of resurgence of the Congress in Delhi, Mr Sirsa said that the grand old party came third at polling booth of Mr Maken with 81 votes.
