HC adjourns hearing of petition against Sheila Dikshit's son-in-law
Imran was booked following the domestic violence case registered against him by his wife Latika Dikshit after which he was arrested.
New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Thursday adjourned the hearing of the contempt petition filed against the police by former chief minister Sheila Dikshit's son-in-law Syed Muhammad Imran in connection with the domestic violence case to December 22.
Imran moved the High Court on December 7, seeking contempt action against his estranged wife and some cops alleging that he was "illegally" arrested by the Delhi Police without following proper procedures.
Imran was booked following the domestic violence case registered against him by his wife Latika Dikshit after which he was arrested on November 13.
In her complaint, Latika alleged that Imran had become rude and aggressive towards her since the defeat of her mother in the Delhi assembly polls.
