New Delhi: Union minister and former Delhi BJP president Vijay Goel on Friday met Union home minister Rajnath Singh and discussed the Constitutional crisis caused due the sit-in by chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and his cabinet colleagues at the lieutenant-governor’s office.
“When Delhi is facing crises in the form of air pollution, water and electricity shortage, the chief minister has forcefully occupied L-G office leaving aside all official responsibilities.
One who runs away from his responsibilities, insults the Constitution of India has no right to remain as a chief minister and should immediately be removed,” he said after meeting Mr Singh.
He said this demand is not only from his side (BJP), but also from the people of Delhi who are facing punishment for electing the AAP government.
“Delhi has gone 30 years back on the scale of development. The Kejriwal government maintains that they have not been allowed to work in the past three years which, in other words, means that they agree they have done no work at all.
