New Delhi: A 16-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by four persons, including the son of her landlord, who lured her with an offer of buying her a pizza in the national capital, the police said on Monday.

The incident took place on Friday in east Delhi’s Kalyanpuri area and the four accused have been arrested.

The landlord’s son is aged 28 and is married. One of the accused is a 19-year-old, who does the job of washing cars. Two of the accused are in their 30s, a police officer said.

The 16-year-old victim and her family knew Amit Kumar (26), one of the accused, who happens to be their landlord’s son. Kumar asked her to meet him in a nearby park, where three more accused Kishan Negi, Pankaj Mehta and Raju Kumar were waiting.

The four men took the victim to a nearby flat and where they gangraped her.

According to the information, Amit sometimes dropped the victim at her school after which they became friends. On Saturday, he met the victim while she was on her way to school.

The landlord’s son offered to buy a pizza to lure the girl and took her to a room where three of his friends also joined them, said the police officer.

The four accused then allegedly forced themselves on the victim who is a class 10 student of a government school and threatened her with dire consequences if she revealed the incident to anyone, he added.

They were under the influence of alcohol, he said.
