CM Kejriwal, Sisodia pay their last respects
Mr Kejriwal had on Thursday condoled the demise of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee today, saying his death was a great loss†for the country.
New Delhi: Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal along with his deputy Manish Sisodia marked their presence at Smriti Sthal where the last rites of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee were performed on Friday evening with full state honour. The duo was spotted sitting in the row along with Chattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh, Congress leaders Anand Sharma, Ashok Gehlot, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Raj Babbar.
Earlier in the day, Mr Kejriwal and Mr Sisodia along with Aam Aadmi Party Member of Parliament Sanjay Singh also paid last respects to the former Prime Minister at the BJP headquarters located at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg. The mortal remains of Mr Vajpayee were brought to the BJP headquarters from his Krishna Menon Marg residence around 12 noon.
