BJP chief at Secretariat says all babus working'

New Delhi: Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari on Monday visited the offices of home secretary and finance secretary at in the Delhi Secretariat.
Mr Tiwari claimed that the home secretary was busy in a meeting and in the finance secretary’s office, the staff was at work, while he got to know that the secretary has gone to chief secretary’s Anshu Prakash’s office for a meeting.
Mr Tiwari also talked to several visitors in the reception area, who said that the officials are easily accessible as per appointment.
Mr Tiwari later met and enquired about the health of Lok Sabha member Pravesh Verma, leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta, BJP MLAs Manjinder Singh Sirsa and Jagdish Pradhan and AAP rebel legislator Kapil Mishra sitting on a dharna demanding proper water-power supply for the citizens of near the CM’s office in the Secretariat.
Talking to media persons outside Secretariat, Mr Tiwari said that people of the city are watching the political melodrama being played by chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and are feeling dejected.
“It is an irony that on one hand, the BJP MPs and MLAs are on dharna fighting for proper water supply in the city, the chief minister is arrogantly involved in a ego clash with the lieutenant-governor (L-G),” Mr Tiwari added.
Reacting to Delhi high court observation, the BJP leaders sitting on dharna expressed hope that the observations of the Delhi high court will now open the eyes and ears of Mr Kejriwal and his team.
They asked Team Kejriwal to abandon the path of confrontation with the Centre, L-G and IAS officers and keep the interest of Delhiites upper most in their mind.
The BJP president further claimed that the health parameters of the leaders sitting on fast are matter of grave concern and the doctors advised them hospitalisation.
