New Delhi: Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal will hold an all-party meeting with the Supreme Court-appointed monitoring committee on unauthorised constructions tomorrow to find a solution to the sealing drive.

A government official said the chief minister has invited leaders of the Congress and the BJP to attend the meeting to be held at the Secretariat.

Last week, Mr Kejriwal had sought an appointment with the SC-appointed panel to discuss the sealing issue. “Following recent request of Mr Kejriwal, the panel representatives will come to the Secretariat tomorrow for a meeting over sealing issue. Mr Kejriwal has also invited BJP and Congress to attend this meeting,” an official said.

Meanwhile, the Delhi BJP has announced that it will attend the all-party meeting convened by the chief minister at Secretariat on Wednesday.

Party MLA and Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta on Tuesday said, “I will go to the meeting. The Delhi unit of our party will also send its representatives.”

Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari said he was ready to go to the meeting, though he had not received a formal invitation. “I am prepared to go (to the meeting), though there is no formal invite,” he said.

Earlier this month, the BJP did not attend the all-party meeting on March 13 when the AAP and Congress had agreed to raise their voice in Parliament, called by Mr Kejriwal at his residence.

Delhi Congress president Ajay Maken said a three-member team of the party would attend the meeting. Though Mr Maken will not attend it, he was present at the first all-party meeting on the sealing issue.
