DU's first cut-off list to be out on June 20
The university has announced to declare six cut-offs with the last being on July 18.
New Delhi: While online registration for admission to Delhi University will begin on May 22 and end on June 12, the first cut-off for admission to undergraduate programmes in 63 colleges will be released on June 20. However, from this year the varsity will not allow multiple registrations by a candidate seeking admission to an undergraduate programme as it will help colleges to arrive at a reasonable cut-off.
“Once a roll number of Class 12 Board is fed into the system, the candidate will not be able to register for the second time using the same. This will put an end to the practice of multiple registrations by a candidate,” Gurpreet Singh Tuteja, the deputy dean of students’ welfare said.
So far, the university has announced to declare six cut-offs with the last being on July 18. But subsequent cut-offs will be declared depending on the number of vacant seats in colleges. Students applying to BCom (honours) will now have to face a new method of calculating marks based on the “best of four” method.
