Marginal reduction in DU's sixth cut-off list

New Delhi: Dhe Delhi University (DU) declared the sixth cut off list on Friday with a few seats still left up for grabs. The cut off, however, saw a dip of 0.25 from 2 per cent.

While admissions for English have been closed at a majority of the North and South Campus colleges, it is still open at ARSD, SGTB Khalsa and Ramjas College.

Economics is still available at the North Campus located in Miranda House at 96.5, Kirori Mal College at 96.25 and Hindu College at 97.25 while it is available at South Campus’s Kamala Nehru College at 94.75 and in Venky at 96.5. LSR, Dyal Singh College, MH, DRC, Hansraj, Hindu College have all closed admissions to all popular subjects including History, Political Science, Chemistry and Physics.

The admission formalities will be conducted between July 22 and 25.

Earlier, the university said that it would release five cut-off lists and announce subsequent lists if there were vacancies in the colleges.

Meanwhile, the varsity’s Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) released its fifth cut-off list, with the highest being 74 per cent at the Lakshmi Bai College for the BA programme and at the Jesus and Mary College for B Com courses.

Since many of the reserved category seats are still vacant, the university has decided to start a special drive between July 31 and August 5 to encourage reserved category students to seek admission at DU.
