New Delhi: As dense fog continues to engulf northern India due to the fall in temperature, several trains and flight services have been affected on Tuesday morning.

As many as 25 trains are running late, 9 have been rescheduled and one has been cancelled due to prevailing fog conditions in the national capital.

Flight services were also affected with 11 international and nine domestic flights getting delayed and one cancelled.

The bad weather has been disrupting train and flight services since more than a month.

The Meteorological (MeT) department earlier said the temperature in the national capital will hover between five to seven degrees for the next two to three days.

The temperatures in the national capital have plunged below normal levels in the past few months.

According to the MeT officials, the reason for the climate change is the north-northwesterly winds that have been blowing from the north.
