Delegates praise Indian hospitality

New Delhi: Over 200 foreign delegates and guests from 181 countries attended an event at Pravasi Bhartiya Kendra on Saturday. Praising the Indian hospitality and Indian culture. The delegates got an opportunity to interact with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj.
Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, a Pakistani politician, who was also part of the foreign delegation, emphasised that India and Pakistan should join hands for peace and harmony and should focus on development. He further added that he does love Pakistan but has spiritual linkage with India and comes often to Haridwar and Shirdi.
"Demystifying the Kumbh, the delegates visited Kumbh Mela 2019 at the invitation of the Indian government," said BJP MP and Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) president Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, adding that India is first a spiritual democracy and then a political democracy and delivering democracy is an important part of India.
One of the foreign delegates, a journalist, said: "I am very much impressed by what I have seen here in Kumbh. Organising a tour for so many people is a challenging task but so far it has been successful for the organisers. After visiting Kumbh, I feel that India and its culture brings us together.”
