Vijender Gupta targets AAP govt over scarcity of water
Taking a jibe at Delhi govt's successful trial of controlling ammonia in water, Mr Gupta asked why it has not implemented this successful experiment.
New Delhi: Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta expressed anger over failure of the Arvind Kejriwal government to supply drinking water to the Delhiites.
Mr Gupta said that the Delhi government has admitted that 47 per cent of treated water gets wasted due to leakages or theft and it should tell the people what it has done to prevent these leakages for tge last three years.
Taking a jibe at Delhi government’s successful trial of controlling ammonia in water, Mr Gupta asked why it has not implemented this successful experiment. “There has been crisis of excessive ammonia in water for almost last four months. If the government had made timely efforts, the supply of clean drinking water could have been improved,” he said.
