PG courses receive maximum applications
While 1,22,614 students applied for various PG courses, 17,628 applications were received for Ph.D. courses.
New Delhi: Delhi University, which got over with the online registration process for postgraduate, M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses on Friday, has received the maximum number of applications for its PG courses.

This year, the female applicants have outnumbered the male counterparts in all the applications.Of the PG applicants, 68,991 are female candidates and 53,612 are male candidates.
Similarly, out of the total M.Phil./ Ph.D. candidates, 9,976 are females and 7,647 are male applicants.
According to the data shared by DU, LLB is the most sought after course by the PG applicants with the varsity receiving about 19,206 applications for the same. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) stood second with 18,281 applications followed by Masters in Commerce (M.Com.), which received 10,640 applications.
In Science courses, M.A./ M.Sc. in Mathematics was the most popular choice with 4,164 applications, while around 3,728 applications were received for M.Sc. Physics and 3,668 for M.Sc. Chemistry.
