New Delhi: Differences between Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari and state general secretary (organisation) Siddharthan came out in the open, on Friday, in front of national general secretary (organisation) Ramlal.

According to a party insider, Mr Ramlal chaired a meeting at Delhi BJP office where he approved the formation of different poll management committees finalised by Mr Siddharthan without the knowledge of Mr Tiwari.

It is learnt that as Mr Ramlal announced the formation of different poll management committees, Mr Tiwari raised objection and said names were finalised without his knowledge and without consulting him.

Mr Tiwari pointed out that he was neither consulted nor informed about the composition of committees and highlighted that several office bearers, like the vice president, were not part of any committee.

“At this, Mr Ramlal said that everyone cannot be part of these committees and many senior office bearers have to work on ground to ensure the party’s victory,” he added.
