60-year-old man rapes 2 minors

New Delhi: A shocking incident has surfaced in national capital, a 60-year-old man was arrested by the police after he allegedly raped two minor girls in Palam area. The police said that the accused, identified as Mohammad Jainul (60).
He was arrested under the POCSO Act and later, produced in court on Monday. Thereafter, he was sent to judicial custody.
Two minor girls aged five and nine years were allegedly raped by the accused who offered them chocolates. The police said that the incident came to light on Sunday evening when one of the victims, a five year-old, girl started crying at her residence.
On being asked by her mother, she said that the elderly man had touched her inappropriately. The mother checked and found redness in the private parts of the child.
It was only when the five-year-old girl narrated about the assault that police got to know that the nine-year-old girl was also sexually assaulted.
Based on the medical examination and statement of the mother of the five-year-old girl, police arrested Mohammad Jainul.
“The incident took place on Sunday evening. The two kids were playing outside the house of the nine year old girl when the accused came, offered them chocolates and took them to his rented accommodation where he committed the barbaric act,” said a police officer.
While the nine year-old girl studies in a nearby school, the five-year-old used to lived at the house. Jainul started touching them inappropriately and later, sexually assaulted them for almost an hour. He gave them '5 and dropped them to their houses. After reaching home, the girl started crying due to pain.
