Aditya Thackeray Thackeray stresses on IT skill literacy

Nashik: Yuva Sena chief Aditya Thackeray said that his party was committed to developing Information Technology (IT)-related skills of students at the inauguration of a virtual classroom at  Nashik municipal school No 16 located at the police headquarters on Wednesday.  He said the Sena had undertaken projects, which include reducing the weight of school bags and stopping private institutions and private coaching classes from looting students.

He also interacted with the students logged on to the virtual classroom. “We have our special website for students of classes eight, nine and ten standard, where they can receive benefits by logging in. We have also joined 480 municipal schools in Mumbai and now are adding Nashik schools to this programme,” he said.

Mr Thackeray said the party was raising important issues like women’s  security, loan waiver of farmers, LPG subsidy and other issues. On the rise of youth in

Gujarat and the unprecedented success of Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Mr Thackeray said the party had already made its views clear on the issue. “We are doing our work as youth and trying to reform the education field.”

Earlier, he also spoke to students at Raosaheb Thorat Hall. He elaborated upon email, e-learning, tabs, social media and made the students understand the benefits of smart innovative educational processes.
