West Bengal Governor congratulates U-19 Indian cricket team

Kolkata: Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi and chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday congratulated the U-19 Indian cricket team on the world cup victory.

A statement from Raj Bhavan said, “Hon’ble Governor Shri Keshri Nath Tripathi congratulates the Junior Indian team for winning the under—19 Cricket World Cup 2018 and observes that the young players made the country proud.

Governor Tripathi believes that the success of the young stars will inspire all young sports persons to achieve the highest erformance.” Ms Banerjee tweeted, “Congratulations to the  Indian team for winning the U-19 World Cup cricket. Keep winning.”
