Tutor charged with molestation, held
The accused private tutor, Goutam Halder, allegedly molested his Class 7 girl student while he was teaching her in a secluded house.
Berhampore: A private tutor was arrested for alleged molestation charge against her teen student. Police sources said that on Sunday night, the accused private tutor ,Goutam Halder, allegedly molested his Class 7 girl student while he was teaching her in a secluded house at Bhakuri Haldarpara area. The molested teen girl claimed that her tutor pressurised her for a physical relationship. After returning home the frustrated teen student of Chauanpur Vidyaniketan narrated what happened to her during private tuition in the name of studying. Later, the enraged mother of the victim informed local club members.
All the irate club members then reportedly berserked his house and beaten him severely and later handed over him to the Berhampore police. Then, the Berhampore police arrested the accused private tutor.
