West Bengal: Thunderstorm likely till Tuesday

Kolkata: The metorological department on August 2o forecast thunderstorm with lightning at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal till Tuesday morning, while the flood-affected north Bengal districts may experience one or two spells of rain. The north Bengal districts experiencing floods are also likely to remain cloudy with one or two spells of rain or moderate precipitation. Various parts of the state received light to moderate rain in 24 hours till 8.30 am today, the Met department said.

Kolkata received 23.4 mm rainfall during the same period, the weatherman said. The city is likely to remain cloudy in the next two days with one or two spells of rain or thundershower.
