I love to work with children and already did two films Mishwar Rahasya and Yeti Obhijan. Children are very instinctive,” Mr Mukherjee told PTI on the sidelines of a cultural programme last night.

The trailer of Yeti Obhijaan, an Indo-Bangla joint production based on Sunil Gangopadhyay’s story “Paharchuroy Atanko” and shot extentively in Switzerland, had been unveiled recently. The film cast youngster Aryann Bhowmik who was introduced by Srijit in Mishwar Rahasya.

Srijit also expressed a desire to take up feature films on Rabindranath Tagore’s works in the future in Bengali. The director of “Baishe Srabon”, who attended the cultural show of school students in Tagore’s dance drama “Taser Desh”, said, “There are many Tagorean works which can be adapted into film.”

“But I won’t go for any modern interpretation,” Srijit asserted.
