Police await structure's documents

Mumbai: The police is still awaiting documents related to Bhendi Bazaar’s six-storeyed Hussaini building, which crashed on Thursday killing 33 people. The police plan to examine the documents and talk to concerned persons before filing any FIR. The police has so far registered an ADR in the incident. Manoj Kumar Sharma, deputy commissioner of police zone 1 said, “Right now only accidental death report (ADR) has been registered in the building collapse. Our priority was to look after people who were rescued and trace the deceased till Friday afternoon. We have asked for the documents of the building. We will consider BMC version too and only then file complaint against those who are responsible for this.”  

In July there was a collapse at Ghatkopar in which 17 people had died. The cops arrested Sunil Shitap, the main accused in the Siddhi Saidarshan building collapse at Ghatkopar.
