Now, apply for Haj with mobile app, mouse click

The App also provides guidelines in English, Urdu and Hindi.

Mumbai: Giving a digital push to the Haj application process for the first time, Union minister of state for minority affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Monday launched a mobile application, which will provide information and facilitate e-payments for the pilgrimage.

The app was launched at the Mumbai’s Haj Committee of India’s office. The app is part of Centre’s initiative to make process regarding Haj digital so that people can get an opportunity for the pilgrimage with complete transparency and comfort. The app was made available on GooglePlay from January 2. The App is handy for people who are willing to go for Haj as the App provides information, news and updates. One can make e-payment from this and it creates a PDF copy of the form that would to applicant’s e-mail and after affixing the photo, the printout with documents can be sent to the State Haj Committees. The App also provides guidelines in English, Urdu and Hindi.

The mobile app will be available on Google Play store from today. The next Haj schedule has already been announced and applications will be accepted from today. The last date for submitting applications is January 24. Applying for Haj, enquiry and information, news and updates and e-payment are few features of the app.
