Vinod Kambli's spouse beats up' singer's father, plaint filed

MUMBAI: Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli’s wife has been accused of assaulting a man at a Goregaon-based mall on Sunday evening after he was accused
by her of touching her inappropriately.
The man accused of touching Kambli’s wife is the father of playback singer Ankit Tiwari and has filed a complaint against Mr Kambli and his wife at Goregaon’s Bangur Nagar police station.
The incident, which was captured on a CCTV camera installed at the mall purportedly showed Mr Kambli’s wife, Andrea Hewitt, slapping Rajku-mar Tiwari (59) and also threatening to hit him with a sandal after he allegedly brushed against her in a gaming zone.
Senior police inspector of Bangur Nagar police station Vijay Mane, said, “We have registered a complaint. We have not called in anyone for questioning.”
According to sources, Mr Tiwari, his wife, younger son Ankur along with his wife and kids were playing in the gaming zone at the time of the incident.
