Academic winners to go through counselling
The DMER will soon declare the dates for the counselling process for candidates who have scored minimum required qualifying percentile in NEET 2018.
Mumbai: The students who have successfully cleared the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Undergrad-uate- 2018 will now have to participate in the counselling process and start considering colleges for the admission process.
The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) will soon declare dates for the students in Maharashtra. A couple of days ago DMER released the official information brochure for admission to health sciences in the state.
On the basis of NEET merit list, the admissions for courses like MBBS and BDS will be considered. DMER will allot colleges to the eligible students as per their applications following which, they need to fulfil the admission process at the concerned colleges.

Through the counselling, students would be given insights about the number of seats, the different eligibility criteria for MBBS/BDS admission process. The details and schedule of counselling would be available on the websites of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Medical Education Directorates of States.
