Mumbai: Rashtriya Swayam-sevak Sangh (RSS) general secretary Bhaiyaji Joshi on Wednesday said that just like the Somanath temple was rebuilt, other temples too can be rebuilt in the near future.

Addressing Sanskriti Kumbh at the city’s ISCKON Auditorium in Juhu, which was organised to mark the Kumbh Mela which will be held in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj next January, Mr Joshi said the Kumbha is a cultural event which reflects Indian sanskriti and tradition.

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, who was also present on the occasion along with state chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, said, “Mahakumbh is not only a religious programme, it delivers a message of national integration and social harmony. But rumours are being spread about it. There is no discrimination in Kumbha,” said Mr Yogi.

Inviting all the people across India as well as abroad to Kumbh, Mr Adityanath said that people who wanted to divide society were indulging in discrimination.

“Crores of people come to Kumbha and nobody can identify who belongs to which caste, creed and religion. So where is the question of discrimination?” he asked.

Mr Fadnavis said that Kumbh is mirror of sanskriti. India has always been winning the world through its sanskriti (culture).
