VHP to hold Dharamsabha for Ram temple
More than 500 such sabhas will be held across the nation to press for an ordinance in the upcoming session.
Pune: Demanding an act to build the Ram temple in Ayodhya, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is organising the “Virat Dharmsabha” in Pune on December 9. The VHP has decided to hold the sabha to pressurise the government into enacting a law to build the temple. More than 500 such sabhas will be held across the nation to press for an ordinance in the upcoming session. Otherwise, the VHP will become aggressive in its demand for the temple.
Kishor Chavan, chief of the VHP, western Maharashtra, said, “The Supreme Court postponed the date of hearing of the Ayodhya-Babri mosque till the next year instead of hearing it in October this year.
“Earlier in 2010, as per the Allahabad high court’s order, the said place was excavated and the remains of the temple were found. And it was established that the place was the birthplace of Lord Ram. Notwithstanding, the dates of hearing were postponed,” he said.
