Kapil Sharma files complaint against ex-managers

Mumbai: Actor, comedian and TV show host Kapil Sharma filed a police complaint against his ex-managers Neeti Simoes, Preeti and journalist Vicky Lalwani on Saturday for allegedly trying to extort Rs 25 lakh from him. Sharma had alleged that Vicky Lalvani started a false and malicious propaganda to defame him in digital media after he refused to pay him the amount. According to the police sources, in his complaint, Mr Sharma stated that the news portal on the insistence of his ex-managers Preeti and Neeti, harassed him.  In the complaint letter, he stated that he lost out on major work commitments, as his former managers were not working up to the mark. Mr Sharma has claimed that his managers were also privy about his personal life.

He also tweeted a few rants about Mr Lalwani defaming him on a public platform, but his team later deleted the tweets. ted to the Oshiwara police station on Saturday.
