BJP, Sena to join hands for LS polls'
Mr Danve also informed that the BJP has developed a strong team of booth workers across the state.
Mumbai: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) state chief Raosaheb Danve has again claimed that his party will have an electoral alliance with Shiv Sena for upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He said that the Sena leadership is wise and would take right decision at appropriate time. He also claimed that party has built an organisation of almost 40 lakh workers on booth level and are ready for the elections.
During the interaction with media in Palghar, Mr Danve said, “We are sure that the Bharatiya Janata Party-Sena alliance will win Lok Sabha elections in the state. Our tally won’t go wrong this time. We are ready for the elections.”
When he was asked about forming an alliance with Sena when its leadership has declared something else he said, “Sena leadership will be together to avoid division of Hindutva votes. We are sure on that. Sena leadership will take right decision at right time. There will be an alliance between both the parties.”
Mr Danve also informed that the BJP has developed a strong team of booth workers across the state.
“There are almost 92 thousand booths. We have completed the teams on 88 thousand. There will be 15 men and 10 women workers of party on each booth. So, this is almost a team of 40 lakh workers in the state,” informed Mr Danve. He said that the remaining four thousand booths also would be completed in next few weeks.
Currently, the Bhar-atiya Janata Party st-ate chief and Sangha-tan Mantri Vijay Pur-anik are reaching out to every Lok Sabha constituency to hold a meetings with key lea-ders as well as members of the organisations. Mr Danve has completed 20 districts as of now and by year-end, he plans to reach all 48 constituencies of the state.
