Sharad Pawar ends halla bol agitation

Nashik: Stating that agriculture output had come down, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president Sharad Pawar said that this would give rise to inflation. 

He was speaking during the concluding ceremony of the party's halla bol agitation in Nashik on Saturday.

Senior leaders including Sunil Tatkare, Ajit Pawar, Jayant Patil, Dhananjay Munde, MP Supriya Sule, Jeetendra Avhad and others were present at the programme. 

Asserting that agriculture was a crucial component of the Nation, minister said that the output or yield per acre has decreased, farm produce has no monetary value, farmland is decreasing as the land was being used up by large projects, which were coming up, while the population was increasing.
